Celtic Crossing Irish Pub

Memphis, Tennessee 2015

Celtic Crossing is in Memphis. It is also the world’s best Irish Pub!

We were at Celtic Crossing in Memphis last year and met two of the nicest people on the planet – pub owners DJ and Jamie. We had so much fun, we invited ourselves back. And they accepted!

We’ were there on Monday, March 16th for St. Patrick’s Day Eve.

This year’s format changed a bit. It was an evening of whiskey tasting, Irish music, and Irish storytelling. Celtic Crossing offered two tiers of pricing.

$30 premium ticket got tastings of some fine Irish whiskeys, PLUS Irish music and Irish story telling from ClanDonnell.

$75 echelon ticket got tastings of some even finer Irish whiskeys – like the 12 year old stuff, and even a 21 year old Bushmills. ALSO Irish music and Irish story telling from ClanDonnell. AND as a final bonus, a signed copy of ClanDonnell: A Storied History of Ireland.

We put together some of our favorite stories for the event, plus added a few new ones.

It was even be more fun St. Patrick’s Day. We hung out at Celtic Crossing all day – meeting and greeting customers and sharing a few stories. We finished whatever Irish whiskeys are left after the night before.

There was also some face painting going on.

Thanks to All Events in Memphis, The Commercial Appeal, and Places to Go In Memphis for publicizing the event.
