Jameson’s Public House is in the heart of the Iowa Irish Fest, within the blocked-off part of town which, during the festival, is filled with the Irish and Irish-at-heart. ClanDonnell hung out at Jameson’s whenever there was a break in the action at the cultural events stage.

We even told a story or two at the pub. Must admit, though, it was difficult to be heard over the bagpipes.
