A reader wants ClanDonnell for Free!
Rosalyn C. asked where she could get a free copy of ClanDonnell. She’s downsizing her library and didn’t wish to buy yet another book.
My first inclination was to ignore Rosalyn, since my publisher is in the business of selling books. It might anger my publisher if I told people how to get free copies. But ignoring nice people is not in my nature.
And so my answer to Rosalyn was simply this:
Go to her local library and tell the librarian that she wants (demands) ClanDonnell. Librarians are very accommodating people. If people ask for libraries for ClanDonnell, libraries will place the book on their acquisition list. My publisher will sell a book and Rosalyn (and people like her) will get free access!
