Coeur d’Alene, Idaho

We stopped at Kelly’s Irish Pub & Grill on the ClanDonnell Seahawkeye Book Tour. It is, by all accounts, the best Irish pub in Idaho. We’ll be there on Wednesday, July 23rd, 2014, from 7:00 p.m. until we ran out of energy, which was just before closing.

We had a wonderful time at Kelly’s. They gave me a microphone and a stool, then told me to “start talking”. And I did for about two hours! We told a few tales, but by and large kept things totally non-fiction – mainly because the audience had many questions and we tried our best to respond appropriately.

I love telling stories with a mike in one hand and a Guinness in the other.

Kelly’s is, as advertised, a taste of Ireland in Coeur d’Alene. And we added to the taste.
