Reno, Nevada – Thursday, May 16, 2019
While in town, we did a gig at Sundance Books and Music – Reno’s best bookstore! We told some tales and added a wee bit of Irish history and culture to the mix.
We had a great crowd at Sundance and filled up the front room. ClanDonnell put on its “A” game and told a raft of stories for over an hour. We even rolled out a new story for the event.
Sundance is located in the historic Levy House. It was built in 1906 and in the Classic Revival style. I know this because I read it on Wikipedia. Not every bookstore building has its own Wikipedia page.
It’s on the National Register of Historic Places. More importantly, it’s listed as “haunted” on hauntedhouses.com. Evidently, some strange things have happened there.
But they hadn’t seen anything like the arrival of ClanDonnell!
Thanks to Reno News & Review and to All Events in Reno for their plugs of the event.
