I was a reporter and sometimes editor (we rotated the position) for my high school newspaper, The Blue & White.

Ponder that a bit, and see if you can you guess our school colors

I was cleaning out closets and boxes of stuff the other day and came across many old high school newspapers. I saved them for some reason. They were yellowed and brittle from age.

What could I possibly do with them? I could put them back in the box and save them for a few more decades, but that would negate the purpose of the cleaning project. I could throw them away, but then why did I keep them so long in the first place?

Or I could scan my articles and post them on my website – and then throw them away. And that is what I did.

I don’t expect anyone to actually read these. But I did clean my closet.
