Photographs by Linda McDonnell
ClanDonnell features the beautiful photography of Linda McDonnell. Each photo relates to a story in the book and wonderfully captures its essence.
Linda is a mother, grandmother, Realtor and teacher who loves traveling and her passion is taking photographs. Her photographs in ClanDonnell are, indeed, excellent and certainly help clarify and tell the stories.
If some of the photos make Ireland look a wee bit gray and overcast, don’t blame it on Linda. That’s the way it is on the island. My favorite description of Irish weather is: “The sun here is not a steady thing. Sure, it will blind you, but only long enough for the rain to hit you.”
Linda used a Nikon Coolpix L120 for her Ireland photographs.
Linda says: “Ireland is a beautiful place and I found a treasure around every corner. I tried to capture the island in all of its glory.“
Many of the photos on this website are Linda’s. The photo below was once on the home page was taken by her. It is the Cliffs of Moher, County Clare, Ireland. The Republic of Ireland tri-color flag was taken by her at the visitor center for the Cliffs of Moher.
Linda’s photos are available for purchase. Visit this link for more information.
