& Arkansas and Tennessee

We did indeed mess with Texas (and Tennessee and Arkansas) and lived to tell the tale.

Our trip is over, and we are exhausted. We met some wonderful people and sold a lot of books.

The photograph above is of the sign for The Black Labrador restaurant near the campus of the University of St. Thomas in Houston. Kayla, our black Labrador, came along the trip and was a real trooper. We are honoring her with this photo.

The image below is of the winner in the book tour competition. We stayed at a Motel 6 nearly every night of the 2 -week book tour. Motel 6 made more money on the trip than our publisher, Burrowing Owl Press.
