Gaelic League of Detroit
The Irish Genealogical Society of Michigan meets at the Gaelic League on Michigan Avenue in Detroit. The society met on Saturday, February 21st at 1:30 p.m. And ClanDonnell was there.
Those in attendance may have been surprised, because we have no intention of talking about Irish Genealogy. Besides, those in attendance may be more skilled in genealogy that we are.
Instead, we told some great Irish stories. It shaped up to be an enjoyable February afternoon, and gear-up for St. Patrick’s Day.
Many thanks to the Michigan Irish American Chamber of Commerce for publicizing the event. The event also made the Things To Do In Detroit This Weekend and list, and the Detroit Free Press More Fun Things To Do for the weekend.
