Albuquerque Folk Festival

ABQ New Mexico – 2018
The 20th Annual ABQ Folk Festival at the Balloon Fiesta Museum

We were on the Storytellers Stage for the Albuquerque Folk Festival. It was Saturday, June 2nd at the Anderson-Abruzzo Albuquerque Balloon Museum – be all day with folk music, work sessions, jams, and, of course, storytelling.

From the Irish Times, newsletter of the Irish American Society of New Mexico.

It was HOT day, although I should have expected as much on a June day in the high desert. But we packed out tent and filled the hour with some Irish stories. We even unveiled two new ones – “Upstairs/Downstairs” and “The Devil’s Bridge”. We’ll recycle both stories at future events.

The best part of the event, though, was the presence of ClanDonnell family – daughter, daughter-in-law, and grandson!
