ClanDonnell The Video

A YouTube Video

We put together a video to run at events, mainly to kill time while we were getting ready to go live. It came quite nicely.

It’s here, on YouTube.

The photograph at the top of the page (and which is also in the video) is not of a goat. It is a photograph of a lawn mower. At least that is what its owner says. He is also the owner of a hotel in Cushendun, County Antrim, and he keeps the goat tied up in front of the hotel. The goat keeps the lawn trim.

An Italian company, www.freenewspos.com, picked up the ClanDonnell video, and subscribers automatically received its feed. We found the video on its feed before, but the website no longer exists. We’re afraid that the ClanDonnell video might have put it out of business.

We wanted lively music for the video, and the Dublin band Mutefish gave us permission to use their tunes. Great stuff, and you can follow them on Facebook. There is a definite Irish, Celtic orientation to the sound, but the musicians are not all from Ireland. Countries represented include Poland, Lituania, and Ukraine.

Photographs (including those in the video) by Linda McDonnell. The photograph of Mutefish was taken on Grafton Street, Dublin.
