ClanDonnell returned to the Indy Irish Festival for Friday and Saturday, September 24th and 25th, 2021. This was our first live performances of 2021 – and our first since February of 2020!
The festival was much scaled down from prior years. We were there in 2015 for a three day festival in a downtown park. This year it is a single day at a smaller park. Actually it is NOT s smaller park. Garfield Park is huge and the oldest park in the city. But the portion devoted to the festival on the 25th was smaller – better suited for one of the nation’s first post-pandemic festivals.
So what did we do? We told tales of Ireland. We performed at several different sites around the festival grounds and had a brilliant time doing it.
