Irish Genealogical Society of Michigan

Detroit’s Gaelic League

I’ll be at the Irish Genealogical Society of Michigan on Saturday, January 20, 2024.

I’ll be telling some old Irish legends. And by old, I mean from Ireland’s Ulster Cycle, Fenian Cycle, and Mythological Cycle. I won’t tell you which ones yet. It will be a surprise.

I’m excited!

It’s at Detroit’s Gaelic League.

The Update

I told The Feast, a tale from the Ulster Cycle, featuring Bricrui and Cú Chulainn, the latter being the hero of most tales from the Ulster Cycle.

I tell many versions of this tale, depending upon my mood and my audience. On version of Bricrui’s Feast is at this link.
