Our March 2015

March Madness, in the ClanDonnell world, had nothing to do with basketball. March is the month of St. Patrick’s Day, and, thus, Irish celebrations everywhere. We couldn’t go to them all, but we went to as many as we could — in what we called the ClanDonnell March Madness Tour.

We tripped out in Michigan, Tennessee, Illinois, Indiana, Oklahoma and Kentucky — before, during and after St. Patrick’s Day 2015.

Our March Madness tour started in February and ended in April, which made perfect sense to us. The February and April gigs were all in Michigan – as was one in March.

From Michigan, we went to Chicago and Evanston, Illinois, then back to Michigan for Traverse City St. Patrick’s Day parade. You will never guess who was selected as the parade’s Grand Marshall. Then it was quickly off to Indianapolis, Indiana, to Memphis, Tennessee, to Edmund, Oklahoma, to Louisville, Kentucky, to Decatur, Indiana, and back to Michigan.

It was indeed madness. As should be apparent, we didn’t want to stay home during the St. Patrick’s Day holiday season.
