Northern Nevada Celtic Festival

Reno, Nevada
One day of Celtic celebration – May 18, 2019!

The Northern Nevada Celtic Festival is a single day of Celtic mayhem. And it’s not even the entire day! It’s from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, so be sure to be there the entire time or you won’t get to see Dolly Parton. The whole affair was at the Bartley Ranch Regional Park.

ClanDonnell was there. We had sets at 11:00 am, 1:00 and 3:00 pm. As you might expect, we had some wee ones in the audience, so we told some stories about pookas and witches and zombies.

The rest of the time, we hung out at the Living History area and in the clan area. Since we were next to the Clan Donald tent, we told a few stories of the clan. We also donated a copy of ClanDonnell: A Storied History of Ireland to the local clan chapter. It plans to auction it off as a fundraiser for its Glencoe Memorial.

And check out the feature on the ClanDonnell storytelling.

We met some pirates in Reno!
