Snowbound in Northern Michigan
We did a program entitled ‘Get In Touch With Your Irish Roots’ at the main library of the Traverse City Area Library. Folks came prepared to talk about their family, and hopefully I helped fill in a few blanks. I also had the opportunity to play with my new iPad, with our photos and images flashed on to the library’s big screen.
The library treated us to punch and cookies.
The session was on February 27th and ran from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m, I was at my favorite Traverse City Irish pub by about 8:31 p.m.
Thanks to Traverse City Area Public Schools for publicizing the event on its ‘Community and Parent Resources’ page, and to my favorite radio station, Interlochen Public Radio, for broadcasting and posting the TC Library event on its IPR Almanac, and to MyNorth, The Ticker, Grand Traverse Insider, Northern Express, and Traverse City Record-Eagle for publicizing the event.
